LEANI LOPEZ
Mother. Writer. Podcaster

I'm a Puerto Rican writer and podcaster based in New Hampshire. Born and raised in Connecticut, I have been writing since I was ten years old. Creating characters and stories has been my passion since my very first story, and led to me studying writing throughout my college career.
I graduated from Lyndon State College in 2011 with a BA in English - Creative Writing. In 2013, I self-published my first novel, BLOOD, and took a break to focus on my son. A year later, I began writing again, and started a podcast with my best friend, where we discuss writing tips and the role of women in geek culture, particularly queer women of color.
In 2018, I left my job of eight years to pursue freelancing full-time.
