May 2025 Update

It’s been months since I posted to this blog, but I can tell you, it’s for a very good reason!

I have spent the last six months working hard to edit the first season of Battle Cry: Captivity. For those who have followed me for a while, you know this has been a labor of love. Thanks to endless matcha and determination, I’ve been working nonstop on it since 2023, but the dream started much earlier.

Now, the first episode premieres this Friday (May 30), and I don’t think it’s hit me yet. Perhaps when the editing is officially over and the last episode is live, then it will sink in. But for now, all I can feel is excited anticipation.

Given the state of the world, when I first started, I wasn’t expecting the plot and subject matter to be as relevant as they are. We need these stories now more than ever, and I hope it connects with all of you as it has with me. I don’t want to give too much away, however, when you listen to the first episode, you’ll understand what I mean.
