About

Leani is a Puerto Rican writer and podcaster based in New Hampshire. Born and raised in Connecticut, she has been writing since she was ten years old. Creating characters and stories has been her passion since her first story, and led to her studying writing throughout her college career.

She graduated from Northern Vermont University - Lyndon in 2011 with a BA in English - Creative Writing. After a year-long writing break following the birth of her son, she began writing again and hasn't stopped since.

In 2018, Leani left her job of eight years to pursue freelancing full-time. After discovering the world of ghostwriting, she was hooked and began ghostwriting romance novels. In the last few years, she’s ghostwritten over fifteen novels and published two of her own, Slip of the Hand and Lost in the Dark. She launched a writing podcast called I Got Nothing, a podcast for exhausted writers, as well as To Court Death, a five-part audio drama.

In March 2023, Leani joined Deep Earth Press as the Head Curator of Fictional Works and Author Coordinator, offering author coaching services to fellow writers.
